Common Type Errors

Please avoid these basic errors wherever possible. Especially when attempting to communicate a specific message.

Common Type Errors (from top left to bottom right):

1. Using incorrect fonts

2. Poor kerning and line tracking

3. Centred text unless necessary

4. Distorting text vertically or horizontally

5. Applying stroke to text

6. Rotating text

Note: This is not a comprehensive list of errors. It is simply the most common or egregious. And again, I have seen them all.
